Import Duties and Fees in the Destination Country
Amounts you pay directly to customs or the carrier are not included in the amount paid to Suzuki.

Orders shipped outside Japan are exported under the condition that the recipient is responsible for import duties. Import duties, value-added tax, customs clearance fees, and carrier handling fees in the destination country are paid directly by you and are not included in the amount paid to Suzuki.
How Suzuki declares customs information
Suzuki declares truthfully based on the actual sale price and describes the product accurately. Suzuki does not underdeclare value, does not mark items as "gifts," and does not change descriptions at the customer’s request.
Your responsibilities
- Check the import regulations in your country, including restrictions on specific products and any required permits;
- Pay taxes and fees when notified by the carrier or customs;
- If refusing to pay taxes causes the package to be returned or destroyed, see the handling in the Canceling an Order article.
Import duties already paid are not refundable by Suzuki, even if you return the item, because Suzuki does not collect these amounts. You may apply for a tax refund yourself with your country’s customs authority if the rules allow it.
