Goods damaged in transit

What you need to do right away so Suzuki can file a claim with the carrier.

Updated 16/09/2026

Act as soon as you notice the damage, and do not throw away the packaging. Suzuki needs the packaging and photos to file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
  1. 1

    Take photos before cleaning up

Take photos of the unopened package, the outer and inner packaging, the shipping label, and then the product — both full-view photos and close-ups of the damaged area.

  2. 2

Keep the packaging as it is

Keep the box, packing materials, and label until the case is fully resolved.

  3. 3

    Report it within 3 days

Submit a request through your account or email info@szk1982.com with the order code and all photos. The general deadline for returns is 7 days, but for damage in transit, you should report it within 3 days.

  4. 4

    Wait for a response

Suzuki will respond within 3 business days after receiving the complete documentation and will work with the carrier.

For cases of damage in transit, return shipping costs are covered by Suzuki.

Suzuki is responsible for the product until the package is handed over to the carrier. From that point, the risk of loss and damage is handled according to the carrier’s terms and the applicable insurance; the shipping methods include basic insurance in accordance with each carrier’s rules.
